InterContinental Dongguan Hotel

Located in the heart of the city within Minying·Guomao Center – Dongguan's first super bay area complex, the InterContinental Dongguan is an international five-star hotel funded by Minying Group and managed by the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG). It stands not only as a flagship property for the InterContinental Hotels & Resorts brand in Southern China, but also as a representative international luxury hotel newly established in Dongguan after an eight-year interval.
The overall design of InterContinental Dongguan was crafted by Hong Kong's CCD Cheng Chung Design. The hotel's exterior features a sculpted crystal curtain wall that shines with dazzling brilliance. The interior design draws inspiration from key cultural elements such as Keyuan Garden, Guangcao grass, Dongguan incense, and the Lingnan painting school. Through a contemporary lens, it reinterprets these cultural symbols, presenting an aesthetic where classical Lingnan elegance resonates with modern refined living.

Topteck Stone Group, a specialist in hotel stone engineering, provided high-quality stone solutions for InterContinental Dongguan using uniquely advantaged natural marble varieties. In the Dongguan area, Topteck's other stone solution projects include the Dongguan Guest House – the "face" of government and business receptions in Dongguan; Dongguan's first Hilton Hotel and Asia's largest Hilton property – the Dongguan Huijing Hilton Hotel; as well as the Dongguan Tangxia Zhengyang Banshan Hot Spring Hotel, which rewrote Dongguan's nearly 2,000-year history of having no natural hot springs.
