Courtyard by Marriott Zhangjiakou Chongli

The Courtyard by Marriott Zhangjiakou Chongli stands as Marriott's first Ski-In & Ski-Out branded hotel in China, marking the debut of the Courtyard brand in the Zhangjiakou region. Located in the Chongli District of Zhangjiakou, a key competition zone for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, the project was developed in collaboration with Shixue Chuan and Marriott International, the world's largest hotel group, to create the country's first Marriott-branded Ski-In & Ski-Out luxury five-star hotel.

Designed with understated simplicity, the hotel blends seamlessly into its natural surroundings and features a starlit swimming pool on its rooftop. The lobby offers panoramic views of the snow-capped mountains and is equipped with premium amenities including a conference center, expansive banquet hall, gourmet restaurants, swimming pool, and exclusive spa. Drawing inspiration from Chongli's natural landscape, the design incorporates artistic elements such as a mountain-and-water stone feature wall and a ski-themed screen wall, transforming the spacious lobby into an art-gallery-like space that evokes a sense of being in both an international hotel and a curated art exhibition.
