Marriott Hotel Changzhou Jintan

On December 15, 2022, the Changzhou Jintan Marriott Hotel and Changzhou Jintan Fairfield by Marriott officially opened in Qianzi New Town, Jintan District, Changzhou. This marked the third Marriott Hotel and the first Fairfield by Marriott in Changzhou, establishing the city's first dual-brand hotel property. The two new hotels aim to create a distinctive "urban living room" characterized by lakeside features and a modern ambiance. The interior design of Changzhou Jintan Marriott Hotel draws inspiration from the layered peaks of Maoshan, a renowned scenic area in Jintan, as well as the region's rich historical and cultural heritage. The design employs lines and symmetrical elements to infuse the space with dynamism and vitality, while locally significant elements such as paper carving and random-stitch embroidery are artfully incorporated into the interior décor, reinterpreted through a contemporary design lens. Wooden structural decorations reflect the lines and textures of mountain and water landscapes, highlighting the natural ecology of Maoshan. Light and graceful art installations in the form of green tea leaves vividly capture the charm of Maoshan, a renowned tea-producing area in Jiangnan. Rustic stone features create a natural tactile experience, allowing guests to relax and reconnect with a sense of inner tranquility.
